Monthly Communities Not Cops Interest Meeting (March)
Buffalo is fighting back! After a year of organizing against the proposed BPD firing range & training facility planned for the Eastside, LOLA, along with residents in the Broadway Fillmore community, have brought forward a lawsuit against the city. As the lawsuit continues in the courts, we are still keeping up the pressure on the contractor for the project telling them to drop the contract for this project & encouraging local officials to take a hard look at the cost and impacts of the proposed facility.
When: Saturday, March 28th, 4-6pm
Where: Virtual (Zoom) and in-person (Fitz Books)
Join us for an informational session on the campaign and lawsuit! Organizers will go through the history of the campaign, our current efforts, and inform attendees how they can get involved. This event is hybrid, meaning you can attend on Zoom or in person at Fitz Books on Main Street. Scan the QR code or click the link in our bio to register and submit questions!
